Astra Metals is a locally owned, locally operated sheet metal company.

Established in the 1960s it has an outstanding record of quality service, quality materials, proud craftspeople and service that is second to none.

Astra Metals believes in putting money back into the Western Australian economy. All metal materials are bought locally and we have a regular intake of apprenticeships. In fact every tradesperson working at Astra Metals did their apprenticeship at Astra Metals.

Some of our tradespeople have been working here for over 20 years, a fact that we are proud of. The original owner Vern Beckett who started Astra Metals in 1960 is still a regular visitor to the factory, giving invaluable advice and support.
